Re: New website: "What class does this run?"
1/1/2016 New stuff for ClassRacerInfo web site!!
- All the changes from NHRA in the class guides (new power factors) and tech bulletins are in the database.
- The new F/SAA class added to classifications. (I guessed on the indexes since NHRA has not published them yet.)
- Fixed some bugs that kept from calculating correct classifications when multiple factors were applied to different bodies of the same model car. This especially affected the 1971-74 Mopar 340 cars.
- Added panel background coloring for the classification grids so that all the data for a particular engine is easier to visualize on the chart.
- Added the dates of the power factors to the classification grid.
Currently working on:
- A way to show odd power factors for the same engine like ram air options, the 63-64 Chevrolets with differences for the WCFB and Rochester carbs, the Chev 454s with the 236 vs the 292 heads, and others.
- Adding text information for engines and cars. (more on this later!)
Enjoy!!
