Default Re: Congrats to the McLaughlin's

Hey I'll give you a brief rundown by memory. The Tamater didn't respond to the air like we expected. We got a couple test tune runs before 3 qualifying. We got the car working ok, wasn't fast but consistent. Track was phenominal. I realized after 3 time trials Taylor had been .041, .049, .045 on tree. Decent but not probably gonna win this race. I talked him into letting me turn 2 step up 400 rpm (long time battle with him and I on that). Told him what a great job he'd been doin on the tree and how he had his spot with that consistency, now lets change the car to get where we wanted to be. Next and last qualifying run after bumping up 2 step .011 We were ready! First round, I believe, was our lucky round Taylor rolled in deep and tried to back off tree result .107 luckily opponent went red, Tamater ran .01 off dial and Taylor knew what he had done. He was ready. Next 4 rounds .019, .018, .019, .008 in final. Car ran 12.12 to 12.15. Worked out
