I'm not saying there doesn't need to be some sort of rules of conduct regarding this, as I've personally witnessed some really stupid things, oil being dumped on ground, tanks being drained on ground, just alot of thoughtless acts. We really try to leave our pit area looking as if no one had parked there, no trash on ground, hopefully no oil spills however sometimes accidents do happen of course we do all we can to clean up. It's really just common sense and good manners in my opinion our sport has the potential for all sorts of environmental mini disasters. I believe most racers would feel bad enough about making a mess without being fined as most take alot of pride in their rigs, race cars personal apperance. Again I just question how NHRA retains the right to levy environmental fines. This makes no sense to me. Joe
