Great car with a great engine from Koppien Automotives, thanks Keith and Steve.
And I call tell you that oxygen producing green grass is also very good for producing multiple donuts on the way back to the pits from the scales and fuel check after the final round...

I hope I'm not stealing the thread, but I would like to have some contact information
about one of the cars Hans displayed in post 9, the -66 Chevelle wagon.
I'm not sure, but I think this car was owned once by Cal and Mary-Ann Method .
Wound up in Finland, where I found it a couple of years ago, and tipped my buddy who was in search of an stocker. Mission accomplished, and he is racing it today with a 283/PG combo in P/SA

I suppose this car has an interesting history, and it would be really nice to get in contact with the previous owners, and get some more info.
E-mail me at stockerbsa1700@tyfonmail.se and I will forward all info to the owner.
Thanks / Pelle Andersson, Sweden
I wondered and suspected that was the car Cal and Mary Ann had. Tony Janes bought it from them turn-key after the conclusion of the 1984 Winston Finals at Pomona. He didn't have a grade point, I did, so I drove it at the '85 Winternationals. It qualified #34 out of #64 with a 13.36 on a 13.64 index. it was easy to drive and left pretty hard.Tony drove it a few times, John Barkley drove it a few times, then Cal freshened it up about the time Tony sold it to a Finnish racer. That was after the 1988 or 89 Winternationals.Tony would have any other details on it.It was great to see it around again!!
