305 crankshaft

Do I have to use the stock 305 crank? Can I use a steel crank from a 350? I see there is no aftermarket cranks on the accepted list. Any input would be great thanks

Re: 305 crankshaft

You don't need a steel crank or the weight that goes with it. use a stock 305 crank or if you want to get trick about it, use a 267 crank.

I think the 267 came in the Monza.

Pretty sure that early Monzas came with 262s, not 267. The only 267s I ever seen came in 80-81 Malibus and Monte Carlos.

Re: 305 crankshaft

Is the 267 crank lighter than a 305? Will it withstand some rpms? This info is super helpful. Thanks guys
