GM steel dually wheels---center bore question

AFTER I bought these sight unseen on ebay---ok I know---16" gm oem steel wheels----I bought a pair of these.........the bolt pattern is the same, the width is correct, the diameter is correct BUT the center bore on one wheel is slightly larger than the stock wheel......does that really matter in any way as long as the bolt pattern is correct ??? After some research I found out the center bore got larger after 2001, obviously I have two wheels each from a different era. Does the center bore carry any load ???

Re: GM steel dually wheels---center bore question

Unless your truck is unusual, the wheels are lug-centric not hub-centric so the center hole only needs to be large enough to clear the hub. Make sure the coined lug holes match in size and depth, and the offsets are the same compared to your original wheels. Of course, wheel widths and diameters must match too.
