Win Class Loose Class Go Home
Let me see if I understand this with the new rules, You go to Indy and run a Class in either SS or Stock that has only 1 car, so durning class eliminations you run .900 under but because the bump is .910 you do not quailfy. So according to the new rules if there is only 1 car in eliminations you must not only run .500 under the index but you must also stage 1st round under your own power. So seeing as you cannot stage under your own power if you do not qualify you do not win class and get no trophy or money.

If you went -.90 under today, and you were the only one in your class, broke so bad on your last run today (or before class tomorrow) that you couldn't even get to the starting line under power, and the bump was -.91, then you wouldn't get anything - I think??

Re: Win Class Loose Class Go Home
According to the rules I read if there is only 1 car in class you must go .50 under durning any qualify round up to and including 1st round of class but you must also stage the car under its own power for 1ST ROUND OF ELIMINATIONS, so if you do not qualify you can not stage your car for 1st round.
