Despite the gas prices, and the length of tow for everyone, I don't think the car count suffered much. I know we were there with a couple cars, with my pal Bob George and Hemi Fred's Sox & Martin Duster. Even with the rain, I still had a blast.

For me personally, it is the can't miss event. The Friday Flashback is coming up, and we'll do it all again. But, let's keep the rain away this time.

This was the first time that I had gone to the reunion, and made me sorry I had not gone in previous years. While I was there I met a few racers from my days in the super stock and pro stock ranks. It was great to talk to these people, which I might not ever had the chance to see ever again. Even got to meet a guy that purchased a 32 three window I had ran in B/G some thirty + years ago.

Many thanks to those of you who talked me into going to this great collection of past drag racing history, and to Darwin Doll for puting on such a fine venue.

For those of you who can make it, BE SURE TO GO NEXT YEAR, as I am !!!
