That's gotta be the funniest thing DJ's ever said!

The young man was new to the bar, so he asked one of the patrons next to him, "Why does everyone laugh when someone shouts out a number?" The man replied, "We've told these jokes so many times that now we just refer to them by number, and everyone knows what joke we're talking about."

The young man nodded and happily shouted, "3!"

[silence]

"Why isn't anyone laughing?" he asked earnestly.

The patron grimaced and replied, "Guess some people can't tell a joke."

When I first heard that joke in 1957 the punch line was "It's an old joke and you told it wrong". It's nice to see it still making the rounds.

Hey Unk, that was several years ago, I doubt at her age she could project womanhood's power to come.
But I do have a pic of the same gal several years later just after buying a NEW PAIR OF GREEN SHOES.
I understand the young man's fascination now.
