"Live From" Vegas at the Strip
 

Well, I'm not live but Timothy Fletcher is. He tells me the temperature is in the mid 70's, but the winds are at 25mph and gusting to over 40mph. Dust and dirt flying everywhere.

Not many cars out for photos today. Timothy will be doing a live stream of Stock in the morning. That would be 11 am eastern time, check out the class racer facebook tomorrow. Timothy has been a big help getting info to us from the west coast. He also writes for Class Racer Magazine. Check out his latest story on one racers idea of combing old and new.

Gary, that is called "Wagon Air Plus" Unlike conventional auto bodies that equate to something like every 10 MPH you get a tenth, Wagon Air Plus equates to 10 MPH=2 tenths. Of course there is the dreaded Wagon Air Minus.

How smooth was getting in to park? Any improvements?

No problem parking. I pulled into stacking Wed. 3:30pm got # 137. Thurs am they started parking in the pits, I was in and parked at 10:20 am great pit spot near staging, plenty of room, no complaints, very smooth.

That is good to hear. Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Hope other tracks listen to their customers.

You shouldn't have a parking problem with only 435 cars entered......

If NHRA keeps lowering the quotas, you will be the only one there.......

Run class for Stock and Super Stock with the entries capped at 65 just doesn't make any sense.....

But sense has never been NHRA's long suit......

Sorry for no reports this morning, I was on the road for the last 5 hours. I'm sure most were on DRC and live access. We did do a stream on facebook this morning. Click on the video to start viewing. This mornings racing was tough on some, as the winds would kick up unexpectedly making it tough to run your dial.

Thanks Ken for the 1st rnd footage, as it lets me know what I might be dealing with next weekend there. It's a bummer though for the sportsman racers who paid all that money and only got two runs. :(
