Ported heads and a cam, it must be OK. How do you tell the difference?

The same Mustang (E/SA) went 10.27 @ 117 MPH first round @ Indy, which is also well below the SS/JA index of 11.00. It appears that he's moved into Super Stock to avoid hits from the AHFS in Stock.

Re: Ford CJ's and Mopar DP's NHRA is now on the case
Back when I was "famous" (LOL) there were 3 classes in AHRA
GT-1, GT-2 and GT-3 - all were weight per cubic inch GT-1 was the Hemi's and 427's mostly - 7lbs GT-2 was enigines around 350 iinches - 9lbs GT-3 was the small engines around 300 inches - 10 lbs Only issue would be all had 4bls - the big engine cars did not come that way but no one cared I still do not see how to distribuite the blown cars against the "normally" aspirated cars (throttle bodies) Oh well not to worry NHRA is "on it" - right LOL :-) peace |
