I have to say the clutch technology has come along way,, I don't have one of those fancy smancy units like dave has YET! but the mcleod soft loc is a tried and true clutch ,easy to tune if you follow the instructions

Data loggers are not unique to Stock, fellas. They've been around for decades in the higher classes. They've filtered down into Stock now, where some actually believe they are a requirement to be competitive , thus further raising the bar away from an entry level class.
I'd have to say the special, trick ring packs that fit the standard 5/64th , 1/16 grooves etc. are a significant Stocker technology. |

The newest thing to hit is going to be an electric car. Time for NHRA to start structuring the different classes. EA/SA, EB/SA, EC/SA, ED/SA and so on.

From my observations watching stockers leaving the starting line, it has a lot to do with rear suspensions. I'll go with Cal Tracs and similar devices.
