BB/SB weight
Anyone know how much more a BB chev with alum. heads weighs than a small block with iron heads ?

About 120 lbs, give or take, depending on other factors being the same.

BB chev about 685 for a Mark IV engine .SBC Chev 575 avg W/O alum intake man. 535 WITH alum intake ..THIS IS FOR STOCK BLOCKS ONLY BOWTIE BLOCKS WILL WEIGH MORE. COMP387

I have three cars and they are all for sale but I have people wanting to know what other clases they can run and so on . Sell one or two for me so I can retire .

I saw the red & white stocker listed for sale. I am not far down the road from you . I live in Kingston, Ont. If I had the funds I would buy that car in a HEARBEAT.
