I use them with no problems. I use the Mark Williams billet aluminum ones.

I was hesitant to use them at first, but was told that you need to use good billet ones such as the Mark Williams as Bob mentioned. Haven't had any problems.

Don't go thicker than about 5/16", and no problems when used with 5/8" drive studs, but you gotta watch them on 1/2" studs....

We use them on 5/8 studs,just get the good Mark Williams spacers and you won't have any problems.
