Default Stock and Super Stock racing in California and surrounding s

It is becoming increasingly harder and almost impossible.

How many of our group would be open to staring a new association here in California. I am willing to start talking to the strips that are still open to start a series.

Same here.

Between Sacramento, Bakersfield, and Redding, we could have a pretty decent series going. It would be nice to have Sonoma as an option, but I'm afraid that ship has sailed. The hard part has always been getting us West Coast guys to travel to something that's NOT an NHRA National/Divisional. The Sacramento National Open typically draws about 20-25 cars is all (I recognize there's a variety of opinions about the place...).

this might change when we just have two tracks, in the divisional races

I am going to talk to the person who schedules the races at Bakersfield. if we could race the same schedule as the super street guys a small turnout might not hurt.

what would be your thoughts on bringing in the pure stock ideas. and maybe the older jr stock rules since this will be a nhra race

David, To be blunt...Ain't gonna happen!

Let's say you live in West Covina...

Famoso (Bako) 150 miles

Sacramento...402 miles

Redding Dragstrip 562 miles

Meanwhile, we've got racers in Phoenix who don't race any combos in Chandler (10 miles)

Yeah, maybe there's a few racers in between but there's a bunch in the LA area, with no place to race.

Hard, cold facts of life, bud.

You would probably get some Ducks for Redding and Sacramento.
