Best rattle can chassis paint???

What have you used with good results and durability? I’m looking for something in the satin black appearance.

The best is Steel-It. It is available in brushed stainless and flat black. The dull stainless color adheres better. We used it in off road Trophy Trucks and many other uses. After it cured, it is not affected by fluids or solvents and takes hard impacts from objects like no other coating. It's worth the price and it has excellent coverage.

Unquestionably the best rattle can paint I’ve used, comes in a tall can (Tremclad Professional High Performance Rust Enamel). The finish and coverage is excellent, very durable. The finished look is almost like powder coating. I’ve have used it for years on restoration jobs.Dries fast. MB

It's good for suspension pieces like four link bars and control arms and stuff like that. That's what I have used it on. If you scratch it up for any reason an over coat covers it up nicely. And supposedly you can weld right through it if you have to. I get it from mcmaster-carr.com.
