Default Need some Powerglide tech info

I'm building a manual shift PG. The core is a Torque Drive core which is a factory manual shift PG with no provision for a modulator. My question is with the valve body which is factory manual shift as there is no other valves beside the manual select valve and the pressure regulator in the VB. I want to know if there is anything that could or should be done to the spacer plate to improve it? Any holes need to be enlarged?
I installed a replacement pressure regulator spring in the valve body already. It has 4 reverse frictions and 6 high frictions and a dual ring servo.
