Bruce,
They are all switching to metric 200`s by Mark Yacavone. He posts on here and lives in AZ.

Because a lot of drag racers have switched to the G-Force transmission.

Bruce, Don Keen probably knows a bit about that trans. I don't know if he does any side work.
Dennis Alvey knows them inside out, over here in Az. Again, I don't know if he would want to be involved..He stays pretty busy.
Looking forward to seeing this new piece. :-)

The first thing you should do is look for the case number. It is stamped on most cases on the outside.

Call Jerico and find out what version it is. That will determine if it is a narrow gear or wide or what it is.

Take the covers off and count the teeth. Compare it to the gear ratio chart on Jerico’s web site

Look at general condition. Roll it over in each gear to feel for tight spots. Look at dog rings and sliders.

Beyond that it really needs disassembly to check it out.

If it is a narrow gear, it isn’t worth buying unless it has the ratios you need, is in good condition and in a low power light weight car.

You can’t get many parts for the narrow gear.

Older wide gear is possible to order some parts.

Buy some good quality snap rings pliers and read the manual that is also on line. Pretty easy to work on.

I got this from the late Gene Stinnett, Garys dad, who I used to crew for. Even tho it came out of his 6 cylinder Nova he stressed it would handle 700 hp. I will get it out and do your inspection, plus I'll go to Jericho's site for gear width info. Thank you very much.

Roderick Racing had a Jerico recently listed for sale on Class Racer. He is from California. Maybe he is a "guru".
