Default help me with a slick question

i can't remember the distance between the sidewall of the slick and the leaf spring while the car is at rest. This will be a 28x9 slick on a lower hp car

Thanks

I don't see how this question can be answered with the information given. If you are asking for minimum distance, I'd say 'not touching the spring' is a good distance.

I like at least 3/4 to 1 inch.
Much less and will rub when cornering.

I'm with Mr Irving. I use an inch min. Otherwise mine have rubbed turning off onto the return road, and in the pits.

Rim width, tire pressure, sidewall stiffness, how sharp you turn a corner, all enter in this equation.

Thumbs up Re: help me with a slick question

3/4 to 1 in. should be ok. I agree with John.
