Time to replace intake and exhaust valve in ss sbc. cast iron head . Looking for 1.94 intake and 1.50 exhaust valves. Any input !! or pm me .

I like the Ferrea race valves for brackets, Manley server duty to handle the massive spring pressures of a S/S camshaft.

I use Manley stainless valves. They also make them .100"
& .200" longer if needed for more assembled hight.

Keep in mind that valve margin thickness and dish configuration have an effect on chamber volume. If your valves have been faced a number of times and your chamber volumes are spot on, replacing them with new versions of the same will probably make your chambers too small. Got that T-shirt.
![]() Manley valves would be my first choice also, as long as they won't adversely affect chamber and runner volumes. |
