My cars are stickshifts, been really happy with the Redline "Heavy shockproof" gear oil.

Just about any 75-90 gear oil with 10% Lucas oil stabilizer added to it. I really don't see any gear oil failing the test in a drag car, especially 1/8 mi.

Not quite true. You need a lube with a lot of E P additives to keep the oil from getting squeezed out under load! The old BFL from Lakewood had a lot. In fact they sold the additive in a stand alone can as a Engine Additive!
