Same as the other polls. Just looking to see what racers in other parts of the country feel about tru-start. This poll for Div 3 racers

OK so none of these polls will show any meaningful results, because of they are not limited to any Larry,Ron or Mickey from voting. So I think you should re think you’re your approuch to this. I have tested the polls and was able to vote on any poll I want and did to test the waters. I ment to start a movement but it went sideways now. so you should just make one poll for all, non racers, racers and anybody that can log on here. if you want one with true results revisit how i did mine, it was for the racers of Stock/SuperStock by a racer of Stock.

The faster car will never be in favor giving away the opportunity of taking the win on the slower cars first red light. But is it a true win if the faster car left earlier and won only because he left second?

Sort of like: If it's the first infraction at the starting line, then why not the first infraction at the finish line? This issue is at a point where you track operators need to make the decision about what YOU think is right and to Hell with what racers think. And remember, this has to do with ALL handicapped races, not just certain segments. It affects Super Pro just as much as Super Stock. And it's every race, every time and everywhere. |

Since I am a slower car, I make a real effort to go green. I feel I cannot push the lights hard as I would like, because I don't want to give away the race. I would like to push the tree harder, and true start would allow that. Just my 2 cents.

I'm pushing it all the time...I've found that if I try to be conservative at the tree it usually goes badly in the other direction lol.

I am for it to me is only common sense and feel like it is fair, the way I see it is when true start made a difference in a race both guys went red and the one who did the best job would win and seems fair for both.
I completely understand a guy in fast car not wanting it,the way I see it is not really different than a breakout and heads up a double redlight the least of the red is the winner. Mike Taylor 3601 |
