Are we talking open or enclosed?
Your only two considerations would be tongue-weight and GVWR. The tongue-weight issue could be addressed very nicely with a "Trailer-Toad" (www.trailertoad.com). Most of the open trailers that are able to handle the weight you're planning on hauling are configured as fifth-wheel or goose-neck models, but Kaufman Trailers in North Carolina has both a 14000 and 18000 lb-rated 34 footer available, and they custom-make each of their units. I've been towing a Kaufman since 2010 and I'm very happy with mine. (www.kaufmantrailers.com)

Keith, that is the conclusion I am coming to.
We have a 40 foot goose and in some situations maneuvering is difficult if not impossible. |

Re: tag trailer for two cars and golf cart
I have found if it is a gas m/h it gets real tricky to get into some gas stations. no prob. with the diesels any truckstop will do. like you, sometimes I would like to get 2 cars to the track but i personally just cant justify the cost of diesel-stacker. I had even thought of a ramptruck or rollback pulling an enclosed. but one still has to be out in the weather. with your very nice projects, I am sure you will find something nice.

Freightliner Showhauler with Stacker is THE answer to most problems. Better driver position in my opinion. Best chassis, motor, auto trans combo. Excellent quality. Can be purchased used with low mileage too.

Re: tag trailer for two cars and golf cart
I use a 22' Classic stacker with a Vnose to haul a Corvette stocker up top. While I normally haul a small car and my golf car on the lower level I can get the golf cart and my wife's Corvette street car in. Between the loft in front of the Corvette and room on lower level I have room for more junk than I need to carry but I don't believe you could go any shorter. I have pulled it with a 42' Bus style motorhome and my current Showhauler. The Showhauler definitely pulls it better but I have gone from South Florida to Northern California in the bus.
