Smile 2000 Camaro 15" wheels

is it possible to put a pro star 15" wheel on a 2000 Camaro with the big brakes ? I put them on my 97 with a lot of grinding but it has the small brake . I tried a spacer but the wheels stick out too far . What is every body doing .

Mike, you do have a few choices. If the 2000 is a dedicated race car, change to race specific brakes, ie Wildwood, Aerospace, etc. Street/strip, change to 17" skinnies to clear big brakes. I do know the calipers from a fwd H-body (Delta, LeSabre, Bonneville) have the same bolt spacing and are smaller, possible to use on early 4th gen. spindles on later 4th gen. to get more clearance? I would think the 17" wheel would be the cheapest route.

94-97 6 cylinder came with 15" steel wheels and hubcaps as per a google search so you could swap 94,95 spindles and then run the 15s.

Mike,
I ran/run Billet Specialties Street Lites, on my 2000 SS.
I did have to grind the front calipers, but is not an issue.
There have been no issues driving this setup on the street.

Mike,
I had to look it up as the car, and the wheels, sat all last year, due to the fact that I moved up to a Stock Eliminator.

Front – 15x4, 5x4.75” BC, 1.625” BS
Rear – 15x10, 5x4.75” BC, 7.5” BS

The rears are 4th Gen. F-body specific.

Hope this helps.
