Thumbs down FS cars exempt from HP?

I see they are flying at reading do they not get HP at any races? The top 10 qualifiers are FS cars? If that's the case the old cars will suck hind ***.

Pretty impressive how Barton would've been #2 qualifier in FS/A without a blower. Looks like there's a lot more depth in FS/B overall as well.

But yes, sad that the old cars who ran hard this morning took -1.0 strikes just to qualify outside of the Top 10 and watch the FS cars run with impunity.

Its the old race within a race trick. For most of us the trick is getting very old very fast. Now every bye will be taken by a FS car without any application of the AHFS rules, that way the FS cars can do the same thing again in Vegas in a couple of weeks.

If the old cars dropped two or three classes (10% off), they would rule the roost. Let's get stirred up again. Good for your circulation. Or you can call 1-800-Larry Hill and get the methodology for getting your 10%. Larry is a pro. How come Larry can get 10% off 38 combinations and nobody else can?

This statement has nothing to do with the fact that FS cars qualify on the same sheet, but do not get hit with HP. Old car/New cars, who cares, as long as index rules applies to all cars qualifying.

Until people quit showing up to races with their older cars nothing will be done. What do you think NHRA would do if a national event had only a handful of the new FS cars show up? ONLY THEN would they address the problem with some type of real solution. If people keep complaining at a keyboard, and then pay their entry fees, there isn't a problem in the eyes of NHRA.

I am sorry but Randy Wilson and I have been proposing some changes to allow lb/cuin class where no factors you based on bogus specs, or equipment allowed. Please review our continued suggestions on this method of cutting costs, and creating a more basic class. I know someone will cry MONEY wins these classes but isn't it bad to see favored classes, combinations while you tow miles and not be given a chance to be even.
