Default Trans Brake/Line Lock Wiring

In going back through the General section on wiring and electrical stuff, I noted that trans brake and line locks are supposed to be wired with one wire from the power source to the switch to the device. In my (under construction) GT/SS I have an LED indicator switch in the power circuit leading to the line lock button to prevent it from being activated by accident. I flip the switch to make the button live. Kind of an illuminated arming switch. Do I need to disconnect that and replace it with a continuous wire? I'd like to do the same with my trans brake.
