Default RPMs seem alfully slow after coming off stop

Hello All.

Dave was out testing my car yesterday, and when we looked back at the runs on the Mega 450 playback after the run.

I noticed that when the car came off the stop the RPM jumped to like 5700 then very slowly creeped up in RPM. the car didn't shift into high gear (set at 6600) until 7seconds out. which is just about the 1/8 mile mark. then it only went threw the traps at 6700 RPMs. It really looked like the motor was laboring going down the track according to the play back. But didn't feel like it. especially considering it was pretty consistant in the 60 ft and the MPH.

Little info about the car. 1981 Corvette, 3000 lbs, 468 13 to 1 comp, BB2 heads, team g intake, 1050 dominator, MSD dist locked, 714 714 comp cams, (can't remember duration)Turbo 400 trans, 8" ATI tree master convertor flashes at 5800. 4.56 rear gear, 14 31 Hoosier. car has run 9.70 at 140 MPH. Was running the car in 10.90 trim on the throttle stop. Left Line at 4800, shift 2 on stop, and 3rd on RPM.
made 3 passes on car 1st pass 60ft was a 1.552 10.67 @ 135 MPH, 2 pass 60 ft was 1.556 10.76 @ 135 MPH 3rd pass 60 ft was again 1.549 1068 @ 135 MPH. each pass we added # to the box to try to slow the car down, of course that didn't work very well. But thats not the question.

Any comments would be apperciated
