ECSSSA race
First, I would like to congratulate all the winners and runners-up at the ECSSA races this past weekend. As much as I would have loved to be there, I’m still chasing down the nasty gremlin in my car.
However, I did have a very important trip to make with my Princess Emily. For those members who don’t know, she is part of a competitive cheerleading team here in central NJ. We recently had a National Championship event in Hershey, PA that the coaches decided to enter them in so that they can get more experience with higher-level competition. Well, after all was said and done, they walked away with 1st place, grand champions of the event and the National Championship. That got them qualified for the US Finals in Providence, RI this past weekend. At that event, they gave the performance of a lifetime, hitting every stunt, every tumble, every landing. When that was all said and done, they walked away with a 2nd place finish and point total giving them a 4th place finish overall out of the 5 locations in the country having this event. Talk about a proud Dad! For those up here in Div 1, who know Emily and have seen her grow up, know what I’m talking about. Here are some pics of her when she was a little over 1½ years old. Can anyone name those Div. 1 legends holding her? The only ones she let hold her. I know the Div. 1 guys will figure it out easily so no fair posting the names. The next one is 10 years later. Yo Ken. If you need to take this post down, I certainly understand as it’s really not racing. But I’m still proud of Emily and her accomplishment!!!! Ken Kopecky 1454 E/SA |

Re: ECSSSA race
Congratulations Ken.
I know Emily is even more important to you than racing, and that's saying something !
