Default Ford Focus RWD conversion

Has anyone here done a Ford Focus RWD conversion? I'm just curious what you did as far as the front suspension. I am wondering if I can use Mustang spindles and either adapt a Focus strut to the Mustang spindle or a Mustang strut the strut tower. I don't have a Mustang strut to compare its length to the stock Focus strut. I'm guessing they are longer.

Kugel just uses a bracket on the Focus spindle, their kit leaves a lot to be desired and is waaaay over priced compared to what PA Racing can do. Yes this will be a ladder bar car with a turbocharged Duratec, not S or S/S legal but a good car to demonstrate my engine building skills.
