I am starting to accumulate the pieces to build up a stocker engine for my bracket '77Camaro.
I should be able to run this body as a 1975, 76,or 77 and plan on running the 350 auto combination. Which heads have been shown the work the best on this combination? '75 350-155-287 I could use the 881, 882, or 993 '76 350-165-287 could use the 881, 882, 993, 997, or 493 '77 350-170-287 could use the 881, 882, 450, or 624 I know this might not be a good car to build on paper but I have had this car for over 20 years and have always aspired to go stock racing and am just getting to a point in life where I can afford to do give it a try. Thanks Chad |

My choice would be the 993. Gary Parker recently posted that the 75 was best (intake maybe) and I would definitely take his advice. Good Luck!

You want the 993 head. Car can be claimed 75-77. I am building one too.
