It took us quite a while to make repeatable gains with just the Cal-Tracs. And when the track would change, we would get a hiccup.
After we bought the leaf springs the 60's were more predictable. It really is a "system" in my opinion. Buy his rear shocks also...you do not need double adjustable shocks on a leaf spring car. Calvert's front 90-10 shocks also helped free up the front some more. Clark |

not to take over the thread but what is the normal ride height everyone is using on a 69 or 70 model nova? 1 inch higher, level, or 1 inch lower. (split mono leaf style)

I use the one inch higher in mine for the ballast we have to carry.

DJ, I agree with Clark. If you switch, buy the split monos, bars and the shocks. I have had good results with their front shocks, as well. As to weather it would be worth it, are you having traction issues now?

We use the cal-tracks an 9-way adjustable shocks and the 90-10 on the front, all from Calvert Racing. On our 69 G/S Camaro. Running a 4 speed. Saw alot of improvment just with the cal-tracks. I would recommend using 10" rim with your tires if the will fit..... Usually a 1.53 60' times. Going to try the new shocks out this weekend.

the cal tracs are a great "system" as the others have said, the real issue will be just how good you have the car working with the present slapper bars, when i had my 69 camaro my slapper bars were home made and worked really well, what improvement you see will depend,i would recommend them in any case
