Default Ford Question

I have a 90 Mustang that I would love to race Super Stock with, car was built to run NMRA with a tubular K member and 6" cowl hood. I also have a powerglide for the car, but no motor ( parts but nothing complete) What would be the best class for this car? I prefer a Modified class, or have been thinking about doing a 4 cylinder and maybe looking at the SS/CX class or SS/ES or /FS. Car was 2700# with a aluminum headed small block in it, I figure the 4 cyl should be about 350# less, so should be looking around 2300#

Any advice? My only other option at this point is to build another small block and run either S/ST or one of the new index classes.

Wink Re: Ford Question

If it were me I would run S/ST....that way if all else fails you have a pretty good "bracket" car. BUT if you have your heart set on running SS send me a PM.
