It's a haul from Connecticut.
I will try to convince a few of my racer friends to make the trek. This kind of race and local racer associations are going to be the way of the future for sportsmen racing I believe. Racers in the tri-state area should consider joining ASRA or ECSSSA. Good payouts and great people. Dan |

5 hours is not a bad trip, in my opinion. It's more like 9-10 hours for me. Gamblers Friday, S/SS Saturday morning, heard they're having a regular bracket race Saturday night, and then we can hit Beaver Springs on Sunday (hour and a half away... let me know if there's any interest, as I'm sure Beaver Bob would be happy to have us for a S/SS Combo on Sunday, and we can make a weekend 'swing' out of it. I know it's Mother's Day, but heck, bring her along! They even have a Mom's Eliminator racing for a diamond necklace that day)
Hey racers, think about it. This race could be even bigger if *you* make the commitment. Instead of just thinking about 128 cars for a S/SS, why not 128 Stock and 128 S/S? I've seen those kind of numbers just for a Divisional race. I see no reason why they couldn't draw that many cars for a $10K. Whatcha think, Lee and Brian? If we get enough cars can we run two complete separate eliminators, same entry/payout...? Could be the next big thing. Ultimately, that's up to the racers to come out and SUPPORT great races when they're offered. Thanks to Lee and Brian for putting this together! Looks like a GRREAT weekend!

When Brian and I got together to discuss doing this , the first question was to make it 2 seperate races. But to do that we need the racers to support this. If we were to get enough I would love to do this but we have to wait and see. If this works our goal is to add more events, it's up to the racers to make this happen.
Looking forward to making this event the best it can be. Hope to see you all in May! S&W racecars is paying 100 to win an 50 to runner up ,and 100 certificate to whoever goes the farthest in eliminations with there decal on. Thank You Scott Weney at S&W Racecars Lee |

I'm crazy busy backed up with work as it is and don't need the advertising, but would like to support the race. I'll pay $100/Win, $50/RU in the main event. (Staging Light Graphics, min. $100 order)
I'll talk to my race promotions partner of the Fall Footbrake Frenzy III about doing something, too.

We would like to thank Matt Welker and his law firm of White-Welker & Welker, LLC. They are putting up $50 for a long tow award. Thank you so much for the support Matt, it is support like this from the racers that will allow all of us to enjoy some great racing.

Thank you Brian & Lee for putting this race together.
This is what we need to do, & maybe have a couple of them thru out the year at different tracks if that's possible. Maybe Cecil County, Maple Grove, Atco, Englishtown or MIR. Hell, it will cost us almost $300. for a National Event anyway, & you have to put up with all of there nonsense. At least these types of races are just Sportsman Racers, so you don't have to deal with Top Fool & The other 3 ring circus'. What else is a Great thing, No tear down, No weight or fuel check. And it's a 1 day race. Love It... Pete Dutko 1374 I/SA |

Brian and Lee,
I would love to announce this race, I worked the Lucas Oil race at Numidia for ten years and also have announced many at MG during my tennure there from 2004 to 2007. Give me a call, 717-259-7996 or an email, mjbassin@verizon.net. This sounds like a top shelf event. It would be my pleasure to be a part of this race! Bassin would be perfect for this race! Got my vote. First FMDRS announcer I ever heard... it was magic. Mike was unwittingly a contributor to my desire to go Stock Eliminator racing.
