Default driveshaft parts

Racers,

In the past, a 364 [3 9/16 stroked] is the largest SBC Chevy I built.

For the first time ever, I am breaking the mold and building a 408 SBC using a Dart block [4.155 x 3.75]

With the 355/364 engine driveshaft life was never a problem. I used a forged pinion yoke, forged trans yoke, 3" .083 DOM tubing w/1350 joints, never any problem. [Strange Engineering Parts] Even with 3100 pound cars and trans brake. all was fine.

My Question, with the 408 should I upgrade to the chrome moly trans yoke and pinion yoke?

Thanks
Larry Woodfin

Or, will the Strange Engineering "S" series continue to give good service?
