By fluke we booked a week's vacation in Vegas that overlapped with their national event, it was nice to finally get to witness some really quick cars. Sadly, I was only able to see a few of the stockers run and no super stockers. I did cheer on Don Elgin since I recognised the car from when he raced in my neck of the woods a few times.
During Top Fuel's final round of qualifying Friday night there was a couple of guys on the non-reserved side of the spectator stands holding up a large poster of a top fuel dragster with a large "X" on it, and (presumably) when that car made it's pass there were several people boo-ing, as well as what sounded like the majority of the reserved seating spectators boo'd while it was towed back on the return lane. Anyone know what that was all about? |

I believe it was a blue top fuel dragster, possibly Bernstein's Copart car.
