Steve Shaughnessy, Div 3 Super Gas Racer, would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for his beloved wife, Claudia. They found out last May that Claudia was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She fought with great tenacity and with every ounce of her being as soon as she learned she had the disease right down to the end. Sadly, she lost her fight on Wednesday, September 15th. Her Visitation and Funeral information is listed below.

Claudia had a tremendous smile and dispostion that would light up a room. Her upbeat manner was infectious, and believed everyone was a friend. She absolutely adored Steve and their son, Connor, and her face would light up every time she spoke of them. Claudia kept a blog of her experiences with the leukemia, and her humor and good nature never let you believe she was fighting for her life. She did not want anyone to feel sorry for her and led everyone to think she was better when in fact she was getting worse. Please keep Steve, Connor, and her entire family in your prayers, especially in the difficult time, and may God Bless them. May you rest in peace Claudia! You will be truly missed!!!
