Default 78 Plymouth Volare 225 six cylinder

I know where a 78 Plymouth Volare 4 door is with a 225 six cylinder. The car is very clean, is equipped with a 4 speed (one of those funky overdrive deal, but could be converted) Also has a carter 2 barrel. Has one these ever been tried in stock?

Looks like it would fit into V/S?

Wonder if it's the same engine as in Mike's car here?

10 5225 V/SA Mike Jeffrey, Lexington NE, '80 Diplomat 14.764 15.50 -0.736

Mike's car is very fast, fast enough to get HP at Topeka last spring.

There are at least 3 V/SA car's being raced but I have not heard of any V/S cars, Although I have thought about it but don't want to spend the money on a trans and clutch. I would not recommend trying to use a stock mopar manual trans.

I agree.. swap in a regular A833 tranny. That should be a fun car to run.

Good Combo with 2 Barrel. I have enough stuff to build about 10 more of them and am just up the road from you if you are Pat Cook in Kingman.
