Default Chassis Cert

Is there any difference in chassis cert for IHRA or NHRA. My question is once you get a cert is it good for both. The sticker that goes on the cage doesn't say ihra or nhra does it? I'm going to get it cert at a ihra track and just want to know if its good everywhere. Thanks. Ed

I have both on my car and they are different in shape and size.
NHRA will not accept the IHRA sticker and IHRA will not accept the NHRA sticker when going through tech.
Each are marked with IHRA or NHRA respectively.
Each time my car was certified they looked at it closely and sonic tested for tubing thickness and each tube was checked for size.
Both are good for 3 years at a time but they are different even though both IHRA and NHRA use the same specs for the cert. it looks like to me.

I have not had any problems at the IHRA races with a NHRA certification but you need ann IHRA number and license. IHRA does not look for a reason to not let you race.

I had a IHRA number and competition license and a NHRA chassis cert but IHRA would not let me through tech without a IHRA chassis cert when I went to my first IHRA race.
All I had to do to get the IHRA competition license was fax a copy of my NHRA license to the IHRA home office and they faxed me back a copy of my IHRA license that I received in the mail a week later.
