I have a '68 Dart that started as a hemi clone. I cannot run the car as an AH ($$$) but would like to try a GT class w/383. I have a question about the 10pt cage currently installed. There are 6x6 plates welded to the floor under all the up right bars but there is no rocker bar. Reading the rules I don't quite understand when the lower bar is required. My rule book is old and so am I.
Thanks |

Will I have a 68 Hemi clone and just raced it at atlanta points meet. It runs GT/EA and does't have a rocker bar. Had it certified at the track.

The rocker bar is only required if car does not have stock floors, beyond the allowable 6 square feet of tunnel for trans access. Joe

Thanks for the replies. One less thing to have to change or worry about for now.
