Hey, guys. Will someone explain to me how this contingency things works? When i take my stock eliminator car to a divisional event, how does the payout work? Is there a purse AND contingency or do they work together? Also, what's the usualy payout at a divisional race for stockers and how can i find that info. out? By the way, i will be mostly running in division 6. Thanks for the help

The contingency and sanctioning payouts are separate.
Go to nhra.com, competition, and you will see a heading for contingency. There you will find the contingency listings for both Nationals and Divisionals. |

If you win or get runner-up, you will get a form to fill out after the race to note all of the manufacturers and products on your car that are listed. A NHRA official will confirm the decals and products.
Some manufacturers may require registration and/or proof of purchase. Some items have a time limit. If you meet the requirements, most, but not all, will send you a check. Some sooner than others. There may be some that you have to "remind" several times and then keep your fingers crossed. NHRA may be helpful with late or non-payers. But I race IHRA so I'm not familiar with any additional details. Good luck! |
