Default A Good weekend

My son and I went to the Centerville, Arkansas New Years Bracket Bash this last Saturday. He lost in the 5th round (S/P Semis) This is his best finish to date. He was on a mission. His times were 6.27, 6.30 (On brakes), 6.28, 6.29, 6.27 (but .003 red). I was very proud.

Congratulations... I've been meaning to ask if you recently bought your Nova, and if it came from Omaha?

If you call three years recent well yes. In four months it will be 3 years. I did buy it from a guy in Omaha. It has been a great car. For beginners like us it has been a godsend. It hardly ever breaks and has been very tolerant of our mistakes. We do not race a lot because we are not exactly rich and just now changed the tires from when we bought the car. It is amazing what a set of fresh tires will do for you! Picked up .14 and 2 miles per hour. (Got an inch taller tire.)

Steve,,,glad you guys had a good outing. As much fun as it is to get a win light,,theres something about watching your kid do the same that is very rewarding. My younger son won a division championship a few years back and I still get goosebumps recalling that weekend. My older boy is going to try his hand in class racing and I can't wait to get out there and help out any way I can.
Good luck on your season,,,,,,,,,,,,Danny Durham (more Nova guys)
