Default FORD, 5 NEW S/SS Engines

Just got some info from PRI Show on the new Ford S/SS engines that have been approved by NHRA. 5 New engines, 5.4 supercharged for Super Stock, 5.4 supercharged for stock, 4.6 3 valve for Stock, and a 352 and 428 Windsor based pushrod engine for Stock.

If I here the horsepower numbers that NHRA has rated them, I will pass it along.

Is the 352/428 considered "crate" motors, or are they available in a new mustangs?

Tony, its not a FE. Its a 351 Windsor, stroked and bored to a 428. The 352 is the same as the 351, with a slight overbore. They will have the same type intake and fuel injection as the Chrysler setup.

Just a question.
Are factory engines that haven't been certified for 2010 EPA or CAFE standards, now allowed in Stock Eliminator?

I would think so. The Chrysler Drag Pack engines have no EPA cert so I would assume the Ford's have no cert. Let's all here it from the guys that thought roller rockers in Stock would ruin the sport!
