carb ?
you can a 73 carb on 72 motor, but can you 72carb on a 73 motor? its in a 340 dodge.

Kelly, Basically, as long as the carb is the same make and model and CFM and as long as the fuel inlet is in the same place the answer is yes. In your case they are interchangeable. The '71, #6138 really is a better choice than either the '72 or the '73 carbs. (Thermoquads are my thing). Check the "Blueprint" section @ NHRA.com Jim
