Smile TH350 or glide

Hi, I would like some feedback from anyone who has done some back to back runs ,or close to back to back runs, with the 327/275/299 h.p. Super Stock motor in a Chevy II (SS/IA) running a TH350 versus a Glide. Same stall 6200/5.86 Dana, neither tranny having a tranny brake.
Thanks in advance.
Mike Cleary.
SS/IA 1389.

In response to your post, If I could afford to go 4 speed I would. Oh and by the way I am an old man, as I consider a Jericho an automatic!!!!.
There isn't a much better sound or feeling than power shifting an M21 or 22 with open headers.
Mike.
