I am getting ready to purchase new front rubber and i figured i would see what most of you guys out there were using as far as size goes. Also what the reason is for the size choice. any thoughts would be helpful and thanks for any replies.

Moroso Drag Specials if you can fit them. Not the lightest tire but look good.

I choose front tire size based on the reaction times I get when staged "comfortably". You can fine-tune RT's with air pressure, staging rpm & bumping, but the diameter gets me in the ballpark, as long as you have enough fender and ride height clearance. Taller for more rollout, slightly faster ET's and slower reaction times and, of course, the opposite for shorter tires.
As for brand, I just match the 28" fronts to what I run on the back, Hoosiers.

Dion,
I have a pair of new Firestone 28" front drag tires that I would sell for $100 plus shipping. Never been used. bobbyz@ioa.com (828) 891-2522

Hi Dion,
I use Moroso on both of my Dusters with good luck. I use 28" on the stocker and 26" on the no box both seem to last well. Darcy |

Dion, I use 7.60 x 15 Moroso Drag Specials on the front of my 70 Chevelle.
It has trick springs with a full coil removed. Good Luck Greg |
