Angry Wtf

from Jeff Burk on dragracingonline:

Dallas Gardner makes $330,000 to sit on the board. How in the world is that justified?

Its just like all the other Big Corporation Boards. Its a BOYS CLUB with a way to enrich the CEO or man in charge's friends and family. The bigger plus for the CEO or man in charge is that he gets a rubber stamp on anything he wants. If you received a six figure paycheck for little or nothing you would probably agree with anything the guy signing the check wanted to.
This is one of the bigger OUTRAGES IN CORPORATE BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But what can you do but ridicule the guys involved, but would you really care if you were getting the six figures. I could take a lot of ridicule for those kinds of bucks.
Still it is a SHAME.
My 2 Cents

AND he only works ONE! hour a week. I need a job like that does anybody know where I can apply for one. If you have one of these jobs available I can fax my resume ASAP. I promise I will agree with everything the boss says. I could close my shop and still pay my employees. And have enoughf left to go racing everyday.

What's amazing to me is that the TV show "60 MINUTES" hasn't done an expose' on this band of druids.

There's GOT to be a sufficient amount of dirt floating around on these people to make for a pretty spicy show; especially, the fiscal part...

Maybe somebody should drop a dime on them...

I don't know... I don't run my car at any NHRA tracks, but if I did, I think it might be a good thing if it stopped some of the abuses that are paid for by Sportsman racers, like the $40.00 insurance that is bought with a part of the national event entry fee, as I understand it, that doesn't cover the person paying for it, but rather, some Professional, who doesn't even have to pay an entry fee.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

But, if I'm not, my thought would be, "How could that type of charade continue, once exposed?"
