Question T.B.I. and manual trans question......

Hopefully someone has used a t.b.i. chevy set-up for stock and can give me some input. I plan to race a 91 s-10 with a 4.3 and manual trans. If I'm not mistaking, the throttle body for a 4.3 is the same as a 5.0, 5.7 and 7.4, just diff. injecters. With that being the case, if a factory computer is used, can it be programmed to take the desired specs it will require to run low 12's? If not, can a FAST system be used and be programmed to run a t.b.i. system. What manual trans would be a good starting point? Yes a jerico or a g-force would be better, and some might be thinking to just spend the money now and be done with it, but since this is a starter stocker I just want to get it going first then update as funds come in. I want to get this going a.s.a.p., I just joined SSSSA and I want to race so bad. Might start out as a W/S first (4 banger with stick) just to get the blood pumping again. I think as a w truck it will at least run the index, but way off the record. STOCKERS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick.
