I have a 4150 style 785 CFM that was part of their "Weekend Warrior" series which I don't think they make anymore.
Out of the box it works great. I had it on a street 400 pontiac that went 12.75@104 in a 4000lb car and then put it in a 3100lb bracket car with a 12:1 396 with Iron Heads and a Solid Lifter Flat Tappet cam and have gone 10.89@123mph in good weather and 11.0's in the heat. The throttle response is excellent, don't know if anyone else has had luck with them but the same carb worked great in these two combos for me.

DaVinci went bust.
David Cook (DC Carbs) does the same stuff. I believe he worked at DaVinci's many years ago. I have a DC Carb, top notch, they are on many Comp cars. |
