I passed the old stock elininator car onto my son and he is looking for a set of coated 1 7/8" X 3 1/2" headers for the 406 we built for it, 23 degree AFR heads.
Which brand of coated headers are going to give good fit and finish? Steps aren't required but they need to have collector flanges for mufflers. The local distributer says they aren't returnable period so it would be nice to get the right ones the first time. Thanks, Cam Chowen NHRA 6067 C/S http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...Mission05A.jpg |

I've owned the car since 1978. The origional owner was a school teacher. She only had put just over 20000 miles on it in the 10 years she owned it. It still has less that 24000. We still have all the origional stuff including winter tires LOL.
When my son and I restored it in the mid '90's we took the body down to bare metal and there was no accident damage. Still have the origional engine in the basement. Lots of good memories for me and it's still in the family. Cam |
