Just wondering why so few 68-72 Novas in super stock? All the same classes and combos as 67-69 camaro plus some, (except for the 427 and 302) Lots of them in stock. Just wanting a bit of food for thought, no secrets needed! Thanks

You would think with the new "relaxed" SS/GT rules that some of these cars will start showing up now and then. There is quite a few of them affordably priced on Racingjunk.com nowadays, so all you need is to pick a combo and throw it in. It could'nt be that easy could it?
I have a back halved 68 myself, and its crossed my mind a few times, but my wallet brings me back to reality. Amazing how that works. My 2 cents,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Danny Durham |

I wasn't even thinking about the new gt rules, but that opens up a whole new world of classes for these to fit into. And yes they ran 3 speeds in them in 68, or at least in the bb cars.

Hmmmmm.....how about a chap alternative to a '67-69 Z-28? 302 Nova or better yet 302 '66 Chevy II or even better better better a 302 4-speed Monza!!!
If you can't tell, I've always wanted to race a 302 Z engine... NHRA #7494 SS/H 1970 AMC AMX "Best Appearing" @ NHRA '06 Pacific Sports Nationals JeffLeeAzRealty@Qwest.net 602-418-9797 |

I bet you are going class racing and leaving the brackets behind.
